67’s GOALS! School Program

The Ottawa 67’s GOALS! School Program is not just about getting autographs from our players and meeting our mascot RILEY, we provide fun, engaging and educational life-lessons that meet your school’s curriculum including:

  • Healthy Active Living
  • Character Building
  • Goal Setting
  • Team Work
  • Anti-Bullying

Ryan Orban, Riley, and Mark Sluban visit school

Every student has goals, be it to get an ‘A’ on the next math test, to earn enough money for a new bike, or to put a puck in the net – these are all goals.

The Ottawa 67’s staff and players will visit your school to discuss the importance of setting goals and never giving up on them. Our players will provide concrete examples of challenges they faced as children on their life-path towards their goal of becoming an elite hockey player.

In addition to the inspiration and motivation your 1-hour 67’s Champions For Education assembly includes:

    • Meet 1-2 Ottawa 67’s players
    • Meet Riley the Racoon – Ottawa 67’s mascot
    • Riley autograph cards for every student
    • FREE ticket offer to an Ottawa 67’s game for every student
    • Autograph session (if time allows)
    • Prizes for select students

Riley, Evan de Haan, and Nevin Guy visit local school

Audio/Video requirements: minimum one microphone (wireless preferred), LCD projector for PowerPoint, speakers, and laptop with PowerPoint.

In order to deliver the 67’s GOALS! School Program to your school, we need to arrange our visit around the training, travel, and game schedule of the team. *Most Tuesdays or Wednesdays from September 2016 – March 2017, based on availability.

All requests must be processed via this booking form

*due to limited availability of players not all requests are guaranteed, but we will do our best to accommodate.

TESTIMONIALS

I just wanted to write and thank you for bringing Ryan and Erik to Robert Hopkins PS. The students were still talking about the assembly later in the day. Their message about dealing with bullies and the need to persevere in school and at hobbies that they love, was inspiring.

Thank you again,
Mary

That was an inspiring assembly and gave us the energy we need right now. You are great speaker and thanks so much for considering Fallingbrook for this great Character Ed. program!

Your players and the mascot were fantastic and the kids were so excited (teachers too).

Thank you again and I hope you have a wonderful day. It would be great to have you out again next year.
