67’s spread cheer at the St. Elizabeth CS Luncheon

On Monday, December 13, members of the Ottawa 67’s and Ottawa REDBLACKS joined forces to help deliver a delicious holiday meal and some special gifts to children from St. Elizabeth Catholic School.

67’s Evan deHaan and Dante Salituro along wth REDBLACKS Jordan Verdone, Nolan MacMillan, and Ettore Latanzio accompanied by Ottawa mayor Jim Watson, Olympic canoe/kayak slalom athlete Michael Tayler, and members of the Carleton Ravens basketball team to serve turkey with all the fixings and hand out holiday treats to over 300 underprivileged children in Ottawa’s west end. 

Mascots BIG JOE, Sparky, and even Riley the Raccoon were there as well, signing autographs and playing with the kids.
