5 Reasons to be at the 67’s game this Friday | Generals at 67’s

The Ottawa 67’s continue their 50th Anniversary celebrations Friday night at the Arena at TD Place. The team is set to honour alumni from its third decade as a franchise (1987-1997) and will have former players in attendance to be recognized before the game. You’ll definitely want to be in attendance for and here’s why!

After dropping two games, the Ottawa 67’s bounced back by picking up a win over the top ranked team in the country! Heading in to last week, the Sarnia Sting were ranked 1st overall in the CHL’s rankings. The Barber Poles scored a big 4-2 victory over them and are looking to carry that momentum into Friday night’s matchup with division foe, the Oshawa Generals.

5. Players to Watch

Nikita Okhotyuk – Despite a lack of offensive production, the Russian defenceman is still ranked as one of the Top 25 defenceman in the 2019 NHL draft.

Carter Robertson – The only 67’s blueliner to have a positive plus-minus has been playing well since rejoining the team from injury.

Allan McShane – The projected first rounder in this year’s NHL draft has asserted himself as playmaker with 16 assists in 18 games this year.

These are just five reasons to be at the Arena at TD Place on Friday night. Make sure you get your tickets so you don’t miss out!
