5 Reasons to Come Watch the 67’s this Friday
Start your weekend off right with some 67’s action. This isn’t your typical hockey game. There’s tons going Friday night at the Arena at TD Place. Here are the top 5 reasons you shouldn’t miss this game.
The OHL and NHL legend returns to where it all began. The current OHL record holder for most points in a single season (192) and assists (123) will take to the ice during the pregame ceremony.
2. $2 Hot Dogs
What else can we say? This is a steal of a deal.
The newest piece of the Brian Kilrea Legacy Wall will be unveiled pregame. Fans will be able to see the piece dedicated to the most dominant era in 67’s history, 1977-1987. This is the era where the team won their first Memorial Cup and members of that team will also be in attendance.
Impact Global Champion Eli Drake and fellow wrestler Bobby Lashley will be at the Arena at TD Place watching the 67’s battle the Oshawa Generals before they themselves will battle it inside a wrestling at Impact PPV Bound for Glory, November 5 at the Aberdeen Pavilion. The two wrestlers will also be partaking in a special activity during the second intermission.
Kody Clark – Coming off a red hot birthday road trip and is looking to carry that into this weekend.
Serron Noel (Oshawa) – The Ottawa native Serron is ranked as the 31st overall prospect by Elite Prospect in this year’s draft class and is a player to watch as he returns home.
Graeme Clarke – The 67’s rookie was recently named to team Canada for the World Under-17 hockey challenge.
Kevin Bahl – Recently named to Team OHL for the Canada Russia Summit Series. The 6’6″ defenceman is certainly one to keep your eye.
