67’s Reschedule Three Games in New Year

The Ottawa 67’s announced on Thursday the re-scheduling of three regular season games in the new year.

Two of the three games will remain at TD Place while the third on Feb. 4 will be played on the NHL ice of the Canadian Tire Centre, where the 67’s most recently played to a packed house of screaming fans for the annual School Day Game.

“We worked in collaboration with the OHL and the visiting teams to find new dates for these games at venues that met OHL standards for play and experience for fans,” said 67’s Governor Jeff Hunt. “Fortunately, two dates worked for our own arena and one fit with the event schedule at Canadian Tire Centre.”

With the Arena at TD Place set for another first when the arena plays host to a Davis Cup tennis battle between Canada and Great Britain in early February, the 67’s and their opponents worked out schedule changes that benefited all sides while allowing for setup time and the playing of the Davis Cup matches – which are played between February 3 and 5 all around the world – to go on as scheduled.

Rescheduled Games:
– Mississauga at Ottawa, Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m, TD Place (Moved from February 5)
– Kingston at Ottawa, Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m, TD Place (Moved from January 29)

– Erie at Ottawa, Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m, Canadian Tire Centre (Moved from February 3)

Fans with tickets to the games on their original dates are advised that they will still be valid on the rescheduled dates. Pre-purchased parking passes will also be honoured for the new dates.

The 67’s return to action tonight following the holiday break visiting Peterborough at 7:00 p.m. before returning home Friday afternoon for a 4 p.m. puck drop against the Oshawa Generals at The Arena at TD Place.

Tickets for all games are available at Ottawa67s.com, calling 613.232.6767 X1, or in person at The Box Office at TD Place. All minor hockey players part of the 67’s Prospect Program presented by Enercare get in for FREE. For more information on the 67’s Prospect Program click here.
