67’s trade Campbell to Owen Sound

The Ottawa 67’s made a roster move ahead of Thursday’s game in Peterborough, sending forward Chase Campbell to the Owen Sound Attack.

In exchange for the 18-year-old right winger, the 67’s get a third-round pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

Campbell had nine goals and six assists in parts of two seasons with the Barber Poles after being acquired from the Sarnia Sting last season.

After taking on the Petes on Thursday night, the 67’s return home to host Oshawa at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Peterborough at 2 p.m. on Sunday at TD Place. Remember to bring a new or gently-used plush toy for the annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday.
