PD Day Free Skating This Friday

The Arena at TD Place will once again open it’s doors to families and friends looking for winter fun shielded from the elements.

From noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 26, guests can enter TD Place via Gate 1 or 2 and guest relations staff will direct you to the ice surface.

Parking is available in the TD Place underground garage. Rates are $1.50 per 30 minutes, click here for more info.

All participants must comply with the rules below and sign a waiver at TD Place.

  • It is mandatory that all skaters ten years of age and under as well as any new or weak skaters of any age wear a CSA approved helmet. Skaters with medical conditions requiring a modified or specialized helmet will be accommodated.
  • Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface.
  • Pucks or sticks and are not permitted during skating sessions.
  • Only E-Z gliders are permitted as an aid.
  • Respect staff at all times.
  • Report all accidents or injuries to staff immediately.
  • Skate at a sensible and safe speed in the same direction as other skaters.
