The Teddy Bear Toss is a junior hockey tradition that spans across the country. It is one of sport’s most unique experiences. It’s not often that you are encouraged to throw something on the playing surface. Don’t worry, we allow it once a year and on December 15 you are encouraged to do just that!
We are collecting bears to donate to CHEO and those in need this holiday season and we are doing it in the most fun ways we can, with the 67’s Teddy Bear Toss presented by The Brick! When the 67’s score their first goal of the game on December 15 we are asking everyone that brought bears to toss them on to the ice! We will then collect them all and make sure they make it to their new home.
With it being so close to the holiday season we have also invited Santa to attend the game and you and your family will be able to get your pictures with Saint Nick! There will also be carolers at the game signing to put everyone in a festive mood.
Puck drop is at 2:00pm, but as mentioned please do not throw your bears on to the ice until the 67’s score their first goal. All bears will be collected and donated to those need this holiday season.
Since this game is on a Saturday it is an I Heart Hockey Saturday presented by Giant Tiger so you can get your ticket to the game, bottomless pop and popcorn for $25!
