Tyanulin invited to Team Russia’s World Junior Camp

67’s 19-year-old forward Artur Tyanulin has been granted a great opportunity as he was invited to the Russian World Junior Selection Camp, Team Russia announced Thursday.

The Kazan, Russia native has had an incredible start to the 2016 season with the Barber Poles, as Tyanulin is leading his team in scoring with 36 points in 27 games. The 5-foot-10 right winger is also fifth in the OHL in assists, with 26.

Twenty-two players should make the final roster, which will open the World Junior Hockey Championship on Boxing Day. Toronto and Montreal will co-host this year’s tournament.

Russia will be looking to avenge back-to-back heartbreaking losses in the Gold Medal Final, as they were defeated 5-4 two years ago by Canada and 4-3 by Finland last year.

Tickets are available by clicking here, calling 613.232.6767 X1, or in person at The Box Office at TD Place. All minor hockey players part of the 67’s Prospect Program presented by Enercare get in for FREE. For more information on the 67’s Prospect Program click here.
