Toronto, ON The Ontario Hockey League today announced that voting is now underway for the Red Tilson Trophy.
The Red Tilson Trophy is the most prestigious individual award presented annually by the league to the Most Outstanding Player in the Ontario Hockey League during the regular season schedule of games as voted by sports writers and broadcasters in the OHL.
Last season Cody Hodgson of the Brampton Battalion received 161 points in the voting process ahead of John Tavares of the London Knights who received 115 points as runner-up. Goaltender Mike Murphy of the Belleville Bulls finished third with 76 points.
The following players have been nominated by the Member Teams of the Ontario Hockey League as their most outstanding player for the 2009-10 regular season. Please use the ballot attached to cast your vote for your top three selections for the 2009-10 Red Tilson Trophy.
