67’s get revenge in Oshawa with 4-0 win over Generals

The day after a hard-fought home loss to the Oshawa Generals, the Ottawa 67’s returned the favour with a 4-0 win in the second half of the home-and-home series on Sunday night.

Tye Felhaber’s 57th goal of the year at the 8:23 mark of the first period stood up as the winner, while Kody Clark led the way with a goal and three assists. Felhaber also scored the final goal of the game, while Marco Rossi chipped in with his his 27th and added a pair of assists.

Mikey DiPietro, playing his second game of the weekend, rebounded from Saturday’s loss with a 22-save shutout in Ottawa, his fourth shutout of the year. The 67’s fired 42 shots at Generals goalie Kyle Keyser.

With three regular season games to go, the Eastern Conference-leading 67’s are back in action Thursday, March 14 in Peterborough before closing out the schedule with home games on March 15 against Peterborough and March 17 against Kingston.
