On Wednesday afternoon, the 67’s officially launched the 50 for 50 Campaign at by surprise a group of 6-10-year-old super fans.

Noel Hoefenmayer, Austen Keating, Hudson Wilson, Kody Clark, Kyle Auger and Riley The Raccoon headed to Boothfield Park in Riverside South.

The kids playing street hockey there had no idea that some of their biggest role models were coming to join them on a day off from school to join in on their game.

To help celebrate the 50th anniversary we’ve pledged to engage in 50 acts of kindness just like this to give back to the Ottawa community that has supported the team for the past 50 years!

The stories behind each 50 for 50 act of kindness will be updated regularly throughout the 2017-2018 season on the team’s website.  Follow the team’s journey by clicking here.
