OTTAWA — The Ottawa 67’s are hitting the road this weekend for a pair of pre-season games in Eastern Ontario against opponents from the Ontario Hockey League.

The action begins Friday night at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre (71 Cornelia St. W.) when the 67’s meet the Kingston Frontenacs for a 7:30 p.m. face-off.

Before the game, golf sister sensations and Smiths Falls hometown heroes Brittany and Brooke Henderson will participate in a ceremonial face-off along with Mayor Dennis Staples.

Following the game, the 67’s will greet fans and sign autographs in the upper concourse of the Smiths Falls arena.

On Sunday, the 67’s travel to Brockville for a pre-season game against the Belleville Bulls. The game begins at 2 p.m. at the Brockville Memorial Civic Centre, 1 Magedoma Blvd.

The 67’s will also hold an autograph session with fans following the game in Brockville.

“We’re looking forward to playing in front of our fans and meeting them in Smiths Falls and Brockville,” said sophomore winger Travis Konecny, a top prospect in the 2015 NHL Draft. “We’re hoping to see a lot of support in both places this weekend and we’d like to see fans from all across Eastern Ontario support us when we’re back at TD Place this season.”
