5 Reasons To Come to The Battle of the Ottawa River!

This weekend is The Battle of the Ottawa River as The Ottawa 67’s take on Les Gatineau Olympiques in a two game series. The 67’s will be in Gatineau on Friday and will return to the Arena at TD Place on Sunday.

1. The Barber Poles: The team is on fire right now and will be coming in hot ready to sweep Les Olympiques and keep the trophy at home.

2. This is a Home and Home with Gatineau: The first game will take place in Gatineau on Friday the 6th and the second game at The Arena at TD Place on Sunday the 9th. This is the only time that these two teams will play each other, as the Olympiques are in the QMJHL. You can purchase tickets to both games below.

3. The Trophy: The Alexandra Cup will be awarded to the team who wins. Here’s how it works, if a team wins both games, they win the trophy. IF the two teams split the series with a win each, the winner will be decided with an aggregate system. The 67’s won it last year and are hoping to do it again!
