67’s open road trip with loss to Windsor Spitfires

Despite outshooting their opponents on Thursday night, the Ottawa 67’s opened a three-game road swing with a 4-0 loss to the Windsor Spitfires.

In a strange twist, three of the goals were scored by Spitfires forward Logan Brown, son of 67’s Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Brown. Logan scored twice in the first and once early in the second, while former 67’s forward Jeremiah Addison had the other.

Leo Lazarev turned away 25 shots for Ottawa while Michael DiPietro turned away all 31 shots the 67’s sent his way.

The 67’s are back in action in London on Friday night and in Kitchener on Sunday before kicking off a seven-game home stand against Mississauga on January 24.

Tickets for all Ottawa 67’s home games are available at, calling 613.232.6767 X1, or in person at The Box Office at TD Place. All minor hockey players part of the 67’s Prospect Program presented by Enercare get in for FREE. For more information on the 67’s Prospect Program click here.
