67’s Trade Sirizzotti to IceDogs

The Ottawa 67’s have completed a trade, sending forward Brenden Sirizzotti to the Niagara IceDogs, the team announced today. In return, the Barber Poles receive a second-round pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, originally belonging to the Guelph Storm.

A native of Whitby, Ontario, Sirizzotti was selected in the second round, 32nd overall, by Ottawa in 2019. His rookie 2019-20 season saw him appear in nine games, scoring a goal and an assist.

In 30 games during the 2021-22 campaign, the 18 year-old Sirizzotti has tallied seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points.

The pick was originally acquired by the IceDogs in a trade with the Oshawa Generals, on January 9, 2020.
