67’s trade Will Cranley to Firebirds

The Ottawa 67’s announced, today, that they have traded goaltender Will Cranley to the Flint Firebirds, in exchange for a conditional 15th-round pick in the 2026 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
“We would like to wish Will the very best in all his future endeavours,” said General Manager James Boyd.
A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Cranley was selected 35th overall by Ottawa in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. He went on to appear in 73 games with the team, posting a record of 35-27-5.
Cranley was selected in the sixth round, 163rd overall, by the St. Louis Blues in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, and signed a three-year entry-level contract with the team on March 2. He will be an overage player, this season .
The Barber Poles will look ahead to the 2022 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft tomorrow, July 1, at 11am ET.
