After seeing their second nine-game win streak of the season halted on Monday night, the Ottawa 67’s will attempt to begin another run of success tonight, with a visit to the North Bay Battalion. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm ET, and fans can stream live on CHL TV, or hear Kenny Walls call the action on TSN 1200.
The 67’s got goals from Luca Pinelli, Will Gerrior, Anthony Costantini, and Ethan Quick in Erie, earning a 4-1 lead after the opening frame, but the Otters roared back, due in large part to three powerplay goals, to earn a 6-4 victory.
North Bay last played on Saturday, coming away with a 6-3 win, in a visit to the Owen Sound Attack. Dalyn Wakely scored twice, along with goals from Owen Van Steensel, Alexander Lakin, Anthony Romani, and Justin Ertel. Charlie Robertson turned aside 31 shots in goal.
These two teams have already met twice on the year, with the Barber Poles leaving both matches victorious. Most recently, the 67’s and Troops squared off in North Bay, on October 20; a game in which Brad Gardiner, Tyler Boucher, Vinzenz Rohrer, and Jack Matier all found the twine, with the latter two recording multi-point nights, as part of a 31-save 4-2 win for Max Donoso and Co.
