OSEG Foundation First ever Drive-Through Bottle Drive a big success!

This past Saturday the REDBLACKS and the OSEG Foundation proudly teamed up to host the first-ever Drive-Through Bottle Drive at TD Place.

While the rain fell steadily throughout the event, Ottawa’s giving spirits weren’t dampened at all! Cars lined up in a steady flow between 9am and 2pm as Alex Mateas, Nick Arbuckle and Ettore Lattanzio we’re joined by OSEG staff and even REDBLACKS Head Coach Paul LaPolice and 67’s Head Coach Andre Tourigny to welcome hundreds of happy donors and their vehicles full of empties.

In just a short 5-hour period, the drive-through bottle drive raised $6,000 dollars that will go towards supporting the OSEG Foundation’s Return2Play COVID-19 Youth Sports Recovery Fund and will help the Ottawa Food Bank to provide emergency food relief to people in need in our city.
