Lyndon Slewidge to sing National Anthem at 67’s playoff game on Thursday

Lyndon Slewidge, Ottawa’s most renowned anthem singer, will sing O Canada before Thursday’s playoff game between the Ottawa 67’s and Oshawa General.

The retired OPP Constable spent 20 years performing the anthems at Ottawa Senators games and will be making his 67’s debut to kick off the Eastern Conference Final.

Slewidge, a native of Sault Ste. Marie, began his anthem career singing at Soo Greyhounds games.
