Pat Higgins to Return as 67’s Head Scout

The Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that Pat Higgins will assume the duties of head scout.

Higgins served as general manager of the 67’s during the 2014-15 season, in which the team finished the regular season with a record of 38-25-4-1, fourth in the OHL Eastern Conference and returned to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons.

“We thank Pat for stepping in as GM this past season,” said Jeff Hunt, Governor of the 67’s and partner with the Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group. “Pat is an excellent scout and he’s done a tremendous job helping us find great talent over the years and I know he’s looking forward to returning to that role.”

The 67’s will make an announcement about a new general manager at a later date.
