The future of the 67’s includes local talent in the nation’s capital following a pair of 2017 OHL Priority Selection picks loaded with offensive potential.
Sixth overall pick Graeme Clarke of the Toronto Marlboros was widely considered one of the best pure goal scorers available in this year’s draft class, while second-round pick Jack Quinn produced 52 points in 45 games with the Kanata Lasers Midget AAA.
Both players grew up in the Ottawa area and have committed to their hometown 67’s along with goaltender Cedrick Andree chosen in the 12th round of the 2016 Priority Selection.
The young offensive duo will make their 67’s debut in 2017-18 with a front office staff that has also undergone change with the introduction of GM James Boyd and new Hockey Operations VP and Head Coach Andre Tourigny.
Clarke will represent the 67’s at Hockey Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-17 Selection Camp in Calgary on July 22nd.
